This was a concurrent review with Liberty Dialysis, Fresenius Medical Care is proposing a 20 Station Dialysis Facility in Anchorage. The total cost of the project is $4,972,459 with $2,172,459 for construction and $2,800,000 for fair market value of leased equipment and building. The estimated completion date for the project is September, 2008.

On May 8, 2007 the department received a certficate of need application for the project described above. On October 4, 2007 the competing Liberty Dialysis - Alaska LLC application was declared complete and the public comment period opened. On February 13, 2008 the Commissioner approved the applicant to build a 12-station dialysis facility. Estimated completion date is 12/31/08
