Description:
Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage proposed to expand its campus including moderization and expansion of the neonatal intensive care unit, high-risk obstetric prenatal unit, the Mother-Baby unit, and maternity support services. The project also includes expansion and moderization of the cardiac surgery program and critical hospital ancillary services. The project will also modernize general surgery without adding capacity.

On 2/24/10 Providence Alaska Medical Center submitted an application for their Generations project. The application was declared complete on 3/25/10. Comments must be received no later than 4:30pm on April 26, 2010. A public meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2010 from 4:30-6:30 in Room 880 of the Frontier Building, 3601 C Street, Anchorage. A staff analysis is due to the Commissioner no later than May 24, 2010.
