Description:
Bartlett Regional Hospital proposes to expand and upgrade its medical/surgical (MS) unit as well as its same day care (SDC) unit. Expansion to the MS unit will allow for expanded orthopedic services and provide for an overflow of MS patients. Renovation of the SDC will upgrade existing outpatient and inpatient services to meet present and future demand. Estimated cost of the project is $8.0 million with an estimated completion date of January 2011.


Notes:
The application was declared complete on 10/2/08. A public hearing was set for 10/22/08 from 5-6:30pm in the City Assembly Chambers, 155 S. Seward, Juneau. On 12/2/08 the Commissioner approved the Certificate of Need. A modified CON was issued on 1/31/11 with a new completion date of 12/31/2011 and removing renovation of the SDC unit from 13 to 18 beds due to cost constraints
