Description:
Providence Seward Medical and Care Center (“PSMCC”) seeks a formal determination under 7 AAC 07.031 whether a certificate of need ("CON") is required to re-purpose 691 square feet of existing space within their Radiology Department to house a CT scanner. PSMCC is also seeking to purchase a new CT scanner to replace their existing CT scanner.
Notes:
A CON is not required for the proposed project because the expenditures at issue would not exceed the $1.5 million threshold under AS 18.07.031.
