Alaska Regional Hospital proposes to expand its existing emergency department (ED) capacity by constructing a free-standing ED, or as self-identified, a Hospital Satellite ED, in South Anchorage. The new construction will consist of 10,860 square feet, be a free-standing building and encompass twelve (12) emergency treatment rooms, one (1) CT Scanner, one (1) X-ray machine, one (1) Ultrasound machine, five (5) cardiac monitoring machines, one (1) portable X-ray machine.
