Providence Health and Services Alaska proposes to build a 96-bed skilled nursing facility in eight cottages, each containing 12 beds. One cottage of 12 beds will be dual certified Medicare beds. The total building area will be 97,198 square feet. The proposed cost of the facility is $65.6 million with a proposed completion date of October 2012.

The application was deemed complete on 1/24/11. No letters of intent for concurrent review were recieved. The Commissioner awarded a CON on May 25, 2011. The CON was re-issued on June 9, 2011 to outline the transition plan for PECC and Providence Cottages as well as the completion date which will be later than the occupancy date.
