Concurrent review with Fresenius. The project consists of an 5,000 sq ft 8-station hemodialysis facility that will also include 2 home-dialysis training stations in Soldotna, Alaska. The total cost of the project is $3,601,131 with $277,100 for equipment purchases. The project will be completed in September 2008 or ten months from the award of the CON.

On 6/27/07 Liberty Dialysis - Alaska LLC notified the Commissioner on their intent to submit a competing CON application for dialysis services in Soldotna,. On 7/31/07 Liberty Dialysis was informed that a CON application for dialysis service must be received by 10/1/07. A CON application was received by Liberty Dialysis on 9/29/07 and declared complete on 11/16/07. On February 14, 2008 the Commisioner denied the CON application.
