The Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Denali Center proposes to relocate and expand its cardiac rehabilitation service to relieve overcrowding and meet anticipated future demand. This project does not add bed capacity but will increase the area from 800 square feet to 2,900 square feet. The total project cost is estimated at $2,188,425 with an estimated completion date of June 2010.

A Certificate of Need for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital Denali Center was awarded by the Commissioner on June 16. 2009. Any person substantially affected by the Commissioner’s decision, may request a hearing to appeal the decision. The request must be received by the department no later than 4:30 PM, July 20, 2009, and must be made in accordance with 7 AAC 07.080.
